These Terms & Conditions outline the expectations, rights, and responsibilities for anyone purchasing, commissioning, or using artwork from Wolvalo Studios, owned and operated by Christopher & Jeanette Balliet under the Neena’s Unique Treats brand family.
By purchasing or commissioning artwork, you agree to the following:

 

1. Ownership of Artwork

All original artwork, illustrations, designs, characters, and creative concepts produced by Wolvalo Studios are the intellectual property of Christopher Balliet, unless otherwise stated in a written agreement.

Customers receive the right to use the artwork as specified, but ownership, copyrights, and reproduction rights remain with Wolvalo Studios unless you purchase full rights (see section 7).

 

2. Personal Use License (Default)

Unless stated otherwise, all artwork is sold or delivered with a Personal Use Only License, which allows the customer to:

 Display the artwork in their home
Share images on social media with credit (optional but appreciated)
Print for personal enjoyment

Customers may NOT:

✘ Sell the artwork
✘ Reproduce it for merchandise
✘ Use it for branding, business, or commercial profit
✘ Remove watermarks (if provided)
✘ Modify, alter, or claim the artwork as their own

If you wish to use artwork for business or merchandise, see section 3 or 7.

 

3. Commercial Use License (Optional Add-On)

If you wish to use Wolvalo Studios artwork for:

• Branding / logos

• Book covers

• Merchandise (shirts, stickers, prints, etc.)

• Advertising

• Packaging

• Album art

• Business content

You must purchase a Commercial License.
Pricing varies based on the project and intended usage.

Without a commercial license, use of the artwork for any business purpose is not permitted.

 

4. Commissions

Custom artwork requests (“commissions”) require:

• Clear communication about the project

• Agreed pricing

• A non-refundable deposit (amount varies by project)

• Estimated timeline

Commission terms include:

 Two rounds of revisions (unless stated otherwise)
Artist retains the right to decline projects outside style, values, or schedule
Final files delivered in PNG/JPEG unless other formats are requested
No edits or alterations to the artwork by third parties

Refunds are not available once work has begun.

 

5. Turnaround Time

Turnaround varies depending on:

• Complexity

• Artist schedule

• Revision requests

Typical timelines:

• Small digital pieces: 1–2 weeks

• Medium illustration: 2–4 weeks

• Large or detailed projects: 4–8 weeks

Rush options may be available for an additional fee.

 

6. Payments & Deposits

• Full payment or deposit is required before work begins

• Accepted payments: Zelle, Cash App, PayPal (optional), or other agreed methods

• Deposits are non-refundable

• Final artwork is delivered only after payment in full

 

7. Copyright & Licensing Options

Customers may choose:

Personal Use License (Default)

• No commercial use

• No reproduction

• No resale

• No distribution

Standard Commercial License (Add-on)

Allows limited commercial use, such as:

• Small merchandise runs

• Social media branding

• Promotional use

• Digital content

Extended Commercial License (Full Rights Buyout)

Allows full commercial use, including:

• Unlimited merch

• Mass production

• Branding

• Reprinting

• Distribution

A full rights buyout transfers commercial rights, not authorship — the artist still receives credit as the creator unless otherwise agreed.

 

8. AI, Resale & Redistribution Restrictions

Customers may NOT:

✘ Upload artwork to AI training systems
✘ Mint artwork as NFTs
✘ Sell or reproduce prints without license
✘ Redistribute files to others
✘ Claim the art as their own creation

These restrictions protect the integrity of the artwork and the artist.

 

9. Artist Portfolio Rights

Wolvalo Studios retains the right to:

• Display completed artwork in portfolios

• Share on social media

• Present in art books, galleries, or online shops

If you need a privacy agreement (for gifts, surprises, or commercial secrecy), please request this before work begins.

 

10. Refund Policy

Because artwork requires time, labor, and creative effort:

• Deposits are non-refundable

• No refunds after work has begun

• No refunds after final files are delivered

• Cancelled projects may incur a partial fee

We will always do our best to maintain transparent communication, fairness, and grace.

 

11. Christian & Ethical Guidelines

Wolvalo Studios aims to honor God in creativity. Therefore, we reserve the right to politely decline projects that:

• Conflict with Christian values

• Contain explicit, violent, hateful, or inappropriate content

• Intend to mock or degrade faith

We will always communicate respectfully and clearly.
